To our 2025 Bog Spiel Teams

Welcome! We’re so glad you’ve joined us at the Cape Cod Curling Club to kick off our curling season with one of our favorite traditions. The Bog Spiel is a special event for us. Year after year, it has brought people together, forged lasting friendships, and created memories both on and off the ice.

You’ve come at the best time of year to experience Cape Cod. Fall is when the Cape truly shines. Crisp air, colorful bogs, open beaches and trails. For those of you visiting for the first time, you’re in on the secret now: autumn is the season locals love most.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our volunteers. They make this weekend and this club possible. If you need suggestions for enjoying the Cape, don’t hesitate to ask them. They’ll be glad to share their knowledge (and their favorite fall spots).

As you settle in, we hope you enjoy the games, the food, the entertainment, and, most of all, the camaraderie that makes this spiel so special.

Good Curling,
Matina Heisler
President CCCC

Notes from the Bonspiel Committee

  1. No Parking Zone – Please observe the No Parking signs

  2. Parking – Additional parking is on the pebble stone area adjacent to paved lot. Leave enough room around the handicap spots enabling cars to enter/exit from paved lot to/from the pebble stone parking area.

  3. Personal Belongings & Equipment - Please do not leave any items in Warm Room. Store all personal things and your equipment in Club Locker Rooms. Your personal safety is our concern.

  4. Ice Envelopes – Envelopes are provided in your Welcome Bag for optional donations toward Ice Maintenance at Cape Cod Curling Club. Any amount given is most appreciated.

  5. Each Curler has been gifted one commemorative glass inside your Welcome Bag but surely you’ll want mates for your collection! Bog "Rocks" Glasses for Sale at $1000 each (cash only). Raise Your Glass marking the 16th Annual Bog - another special year!

  6. Waivers - No one will be allowed on the ice without having signed a waiver on line. If you have not done so, go to the club web site capecodcurling.org, select Curling/Waivers/Here For An Event/Bog Spiel and sign the form. Doing this ahead of time will speed up signing the teams in.

  7. Video Feed - We will again be streaming the games on YouTube. They will be archived as well.
A link will be available on our web site. Our in-house viewing with additional monitors on each
sheet allowing teams to view the far house has been a huge success, and continues!!
