This weekend Cape Cod Curling club hosted our annual open doubles spiel.
We welcomed 24 teams from 9 outside clubs and 10 cape cod teams to the ice for 3 days of friendly competition. The weekend also featured a Friday night pizza party and a traditional Irish dinner on Saturday. Saturday night also featured a rousing game of missed shot/ made shot in the warm room. Congratulations to Tracy Frazee, who was the final contestant remaining and taking home the pot of gold!
After pool play the top 3 teams from each pool went on to to bracket play to crown the winners of multiple events. Congratulations to Cape Cod's own Mark Boardman and Mike Ferrari for taking home this years prize!
Thank you to all our volunteers, none of this would have been possible without everyone's willingness to help out and contribute wherever they could. A very special thanks to Scott Fernandes, who I don't think left the club all weekend!
